Psalm 84:5 "Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage"..... and this is our journey together.......

They have pictures of Garrett's Football Camp on it. In fact, the camp photo is the opening page at the moment. Larry works with the coach who manages this site and he does a great job.

We had so much fun this weekend. Trips to Lyman Lake, the farm and
PCO of course. (Potter County Outfitters) for those who haven't been there. We hit the Farmer's Market and had Tadd, Ellen, and Izzy up Saturday night. I don't think the boys ever quit moving or shooting things with whatever happened to be closer, be it
BB gun or bow. Many villages were started and destroyed on the Age of Titans computer game. It was a great success. We are so glad they came up.

We went to Lake Lyman to fish, swim, and sun twice this weekend. It was so nice and so much fun. They did a great job with nice bathrooms and a great concession stand. It just officially opened last week. The kids all loved the tadpoles. Landon will eventually work with Animal Management. He works very hard at Population control in small reptiles right now.

Ok This is the end of the farm pictures. I wanted to show you some of the great things that have made us fall in love with it. I haven't shown you the stall or the loft or the top pond but I'm pretty sure you get the drift. Everything is in place except for selling our place. Don't worry. We completely understand this may fall through yet and never be ours. It's all in God's hands not ours. Until then we are going to gorge on blueberries and just trust and pray.

This is the lower pond. I didn't go to the upper on but Larry said there were mallards all over it. The kids loved this one and wanted to take Floyd the turtle some new friends.

These are parts of the garden. A gazebo and the garden itself.

do you love the apple tree or what??

Well, the owner of the farm gave us permission to go and pick blueberries and to show it to family when they came up so when Karen and Jason and the kids came up this weekend we went over. I took tons of pictures so get ready! This is the back porch and the view into the yard from it.

Hunter completed soccer camp this week and did very well. Here are the closing ceremony pictures.

Wow, Summer 13! I can't believe you are a real teenager. You are an amazing 13 year old. Baking for the Farmer's market, acting, singing, teaching kids at bible study, your talents are many. It is your heart and soul that make you amazing. Your heart for other people, your courage to try new things and your joy and positive outlook are breathtaking. I am so excited to be allowed to share in this adventure with you and I have understood from from the day you were born what it is like to have your heart walk around outside your body. We love you so much. Have a wonderful birthday.

Well, we needed another animal on this Noah's Ark. This time it is a reptile. This is Garrett's turtle named Floyd. Floyd is very small. Maybe an inch and a half across. He arrived special delivery at the post office yesterday and Larry picked him up on his way home. The guys at the post office asked him to open it there so they could see him. Garrett is thrilled with his little guy and is a great turtle Dad. He has done as much research on them as Steve Irwin did on alligators I'm sure. Do not argue turtle facts with him!!!!

Hunter was at soccer camp while Garrett was at football. Hunter loves soccer camp like few things on earth! They bring in british teenagers and young adults to teach and the kids really learn a lot. Today is the final game and award ceremony, followed by a pizza party. He has kept his goal of at least one goal per day.

Garrett had football camp this week. They have a camp for the 6th and 7th graders to begin to get a grip on the game and how they will be coached when they start in 7th grade. Garrett loved it and got this great t shirt. He said he learned so much and is ready for flag football this year and camp again next!

We got home from our jeep ride and Larry and Hunter were playing croquet in the back yard. I didn't get any pictures because we were so excited about seeing the bear cross the road in front of us really close to the house. He must have been watching the game! Well, for the first time ever, Larry beat Hunter. Then we had a jam session on the front porch. Hunter crashed early after the game because soccer camp keeps him running. This is when I took the videos. See posting below. It was a lot of fun. There are a lot of things we will miss about this house when it sells. Like the front porch! Anyone know of someone looking for a camp????? This one is great!

Many of you know about Summer's jeep obsession. Well we have a jeep for the week because our friend, Barry, borrowed Larry's truck. So Summer's wish was fulfilled and we took the top off and went for a ride last night. She had a total blast. These were some of the pictures we took, two hot chicks out for a jeep ride through Coudersport!

This is Summer and her butterfly friend. Apparently he recognized her as Summer personified! He stayed with her for quite a while. I also had to show the great plant Larry and the kids got me and the cool table that Susan, my friend, gave me when she moved to Tulsa. It holds the plant in the center and is just beautiful together.

This is my completed cell phone koosie. I'm not sure how to spell that but it is like a can koosie. I bought beautiful yarn to knit socks but didn't want to damage it by practicing knitting in the round. So I practiced on this cotton yarn and love it. I can find my phone half the time now! (when it is where it belongs! ) This hooks around my purse handle. The rose is a button. Then the other pictures are my chickens sneaking into the back porch last week. It was a surprise attack but it failed.
This was Garrett's birthday party with his friends. They all got foam swords and a great sugar high. It was a great time for all and this was the only time I managed to get them all in one shot! Actually it ended up being the only picture!

This man asked me out for our very first date! And the rest is history and a blurr! What a great choice it was when I said yes!

Happy Birthday, Garrett. You are growing into such a wonderful young man. Hard to believe that sweet little boy in the cast for his first birthday was soo long ago. I am so proud of what a fantastic talented, creative, young man you have become. Your dad and I love yo so much. HAve a wonderful day at ball clinic. Party on Monday! Pictures to follow.

Well, Olga gave her life in defense of the other chickens last night. We had begun to suspect she was a rooster and not a hen and she/ he took his work seriously. Something attacked the chickens last night just before roost time and we lost our Olga/ Sven. Olga/ Sven will be missed.
