Back Online

We are back online, the computer hard drive is fixed! It is a crazy week with the play this weekend, house guests coming , and snow, snow, and more snow! Larry is leaving for Austin, TX on Monday too, so we are also prepping for that. Garrett won a race on Monday at the Amateur Ski and Snowboard Races at Ski Denton. He got his second t-shirt of the year. If he keeps it up , I won't have to buy him any t-shirts this summer. He won one a few weeks ago too. Hunter got back on the board on Friday. He is excited because he got brand new goggles from Celeste. Summer is swamped with play practice and very busy and tired. She is excited to get it underway and bummed that it will be over! I have decided to start spring cleaning in all of this because I always wait til school is out and then loose June. So I have started with the goal of being done early enough that we can start gardening and going to the pool before July. School is going great also! Hunter has finished his second grade math and is really reading well. Summer is becoming a math whiz, and Garrett is wanting to go to a spelling bee! It has been crazy busy but fun. It makes the winter go much faster. We are now looking forward to Spring and the Easter trip. Then comes the chickens! Larry started clearing up for the chicken coop because he needs to have that done so he can put in the pond. Can't wait to get outside!

hunter's incident

You knew it would happen at some time. Hunter crashed on his snowboard and got his first snowboard injuries! He broke his goggles and smashed his lips and nose into the snow. He got to the Ski Patrol shack in good humor and on the way to the hospital to be evaluated, asked about new goggles and a snowboard he saw earlier in the ski shop. He is fine with a minor concussion and some abrasions. He should be up and running around in two more days. He can't wait to get back out there, though his mom is glad he can't yet. Dad says it is to be expected with the athlete he is becoming. I didn't get my picture posting lessons yet, but hopefully, Ill have some up by tomorrow.

Hello All

We have started a blog to share the activities going on at the Lauber House . Hopefully, I will soon be adding a lot of our digital pictures and some videos too. Summer in her costume and all the kids in their snowboard gear. And Tuesday I will post some of Larry's snowboarding attempts. We are all in good health and over the colds we had been suffering with since January. Oh, I will post some pictures of the new van. What a sweet ride! Larry even drove it today, the surround sound makes it cool! The kids just want to go somewhere to watch a movie. So, cant wait to post our pictures after my picture posting lesson tomorrow. Oh yeah, Daytona Party tomorrow. NASCAR starts and so does spring here even if we have to grill in parkas.
